Getting ready...

I'm getting ready for my journey,

don't really know where this road will take me

But I stand strong and hold fast to God's hand

Hoping that my stride is in line with his plan

I'm stepping out of my comfort zone

even as I return to the place I call my home

I'm facing forward and pressing toward

the mark of the one true God

I'm getting ready for my journey

and where it leads I have no clue.
But I'm leaning and trusting in God to tell me what to do.

As I face uncharted territory

I'm documenting my story

As those did who came before me

and like them another me, there will ever be

Yes I'm getting ready

Getting ready for a world that I see through Spirit filled lenses

A world ready to be explored, United and conquered

I'm getting ready to let my light so shine before men

and I know that when God calls my name for that journey to Heaven

I can and will truthfully and Gladly proclaim

I AM READY!
